One of the key factors in Keith Foster designing SunRidge Canyon to be a premier Scottsdale golf resort is his experience. While attending Miami Dade College and Florida International University in Miami, Keith Foster gained four years experience as a golf course superintendent at the Country Club of Miami. After graduating from college, Foster worked as a golf course construction project manager for Wadsworth Golf Course Construction Company for five years. He was responsible for completing 11 golf course projects in six years.

Three of these courses have been listed among Golf Digest's "Top 100 Golf Courses in the United States". Besides SunRidge Canyon Golf Club, a top Scottsdale golf resort, Foster has also worked on other notable projects including: Eagle Trace in Coral Springs, Florida; Linville Ridge in Linville, North Carolina; and renovation work at Augusta National Golf Club.

Shortly after joining Arthur Hills and Associates, one of the top design firms in the U.S., Foster opened the company's western office in 1985 and was responsible for all of their western U.S. projects. During his six years with the firm, he and Arthur Hills designed and completed 16 championship golf courses throughout the country. Besides SunRidge Canyon Golf Club, a premier Scottsdale golf resort, several golf courses have received national acclaim, including:

• Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head, South Carolina
• The Champions in Lexington, Kentucky
• Walking Stick for the City of Pueblo, Colorado
• Bighorn in Palm Springs, California
• WingPointe for the City of Salt Lake City, Utah
• Harbour Pointe in Seattle, Washington
• Legacy Ridge for the City of Westminster, Colorado

In 1991, Foster established his own design firm and since then has completed eight highly regarded golf courses, including: Eaglewood Golf Club for the City of North Salt Lake City, Utah and The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. The Quarry Golf Club was ranked fourth in Texas by Golf Digest (May ’95) and second in Texas by GolfWeek (May ’95).

Foster is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, United States Golf Association, National Golf Foundation, Donald Ross Society, and the golf Collectors Society of America. An avid golfer, Foster plays to a four handicap.
