The SunRidge Canyon Performance Center has your game in mind… We want you to play better golf. We use the latest in video, swing, putting and ball flight software. Our trained PGA Professionals will help achieve your goals regardless of your skill level. The SunRidge Canyon Performance Center is a one stop facility that specializes in customer satisfaction. We offer private lessons, playing lessons, golf schools, club fitting, TrackMan Combine and junior clinics.

Scott Sackett Golf
Scott Sackett has spent more than 30 years teaching golf in the Valley of the Sun. A Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor since 2002 he is also ranked by Golf Digest as one of the “Best in State.” In addition to SunRidge Canyon Scott spends his summers at Park Meadows Country Club in Utah. Scott is a member of the Titleist Advisory Board staff , is TPI certified, a certified Titleist Club Fitter and a TrackMan University Master.
Meet our Instructors
Wes Neal, PGA – Head Golf Professional
Wes has been at SunRidge Canyon since February, 2005. In that time he has worked in every aspect of the facility from washing carts and picking the range to teaching lessons and running daily golf operations for the club. Wes has been the Head Golf Professional for the past 5 seasons and has a real passion for teaching and communicating the swing to his students in the simplest way possible to understand.
Wes has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2011 and an Arizona State University alumni with a W. P. Carey School of Business degree. Wes has taught all levels of golfers from the 1st time golfer to mini tour players. His teaching philosophy is simple, everyone has their own unique swing and no two swings are the same.
Scott Weber, PGA – Director of Instruction
Scott was a scholarship athlete while he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in marketing and economics.
Upon graduation, Scott returned to his hometown in New Jersey and entered the business world. His competitive nature and love of sport drove him to the game of golf. Scott and his wife had the opportunity to move to South Florida where his passion for golf grew stronger. Scott decided his passion for golf went far beyond just playing the game and decided to pursue a career in the golf business with a particular interest in becoming a PGA Teaching Professional.
Scott is a PGA Professional and is recognized as an experienced instructor. He has worked as a coach, mentor, and teacher to students of all ages and abilities, from the beginner to the tour professional. Throughout his career, Scott has worked at some of the finest facilities in South Florida. He has worked with and has been taught by the industries most recognized instructors. Scott’s continuing education, common sense teaching approach, and understanding that each golfer is unique makes him an accomplished instructor. He can proudly say after all these years his love of the game of golf and teaching is stronger than ever.
